Busy weeks

The past week has turned out to be more busy then I had thought it would be. Maybe it is just because we are so busy during the day and our nights are not as restful as they once were. It is not always Jack waking us up, but Lex as well. I think that we are going to have to upgrade to a king size bed soon seeing there are five of us sleeping in it occasionally. Yes, I said five of us... Scott, me, Lex, Jack, and of course the 25 pound cat- Midnight. He likes to sleep on my feet, legs, or on my back.

This past week we celebrated Pop- pop's 81st birthday, Thanksgiving, and my 30th birthday.

Tuesady was Pop-pop's birthday. I have never seen him open up a gift so fast. Everyone went in and got him a record player... yes, like the old time ones so he can listen to his records (33.3s, 45s, and seventy somethings). Lex enjoyed singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him that night.

Thanksgiving was Thursday of course. Scott and Lex went to the Turkey Bowl to see Loyola vs. Calvart Hall. Scott was very disappointed because his high school lost (Loyola). It was their first lose in 6 years. But Lex had a great time with Uncle Buzz, Daddy, and Grandpa W. Jack and I went to my parents house in the morning to help prepare things.

This was the day my body decided to give me my first migrane in 10 months. It was great, let me tell you. I had to lay down right after dinner in a dark room and where it was quiet. Lex was very active and loud, but I think by 8 pm it was letting up. I had to have Scott drive me home and we left my car at my parents.

Saturday, Novemeber 28th started out like any other weekend. Mom and I took the boys to the mall and shopped. I got some really good bargains at Gymboree... 7 items for 26 dollars. One shirt's original price was 27 dollars... CRAZINESS. I would never pay that much for a kids shirt that they are going to grow out of in a year. Scott called me earlier that day to see if I could bring the boys over to the hotel so some friends could see them for the first time. I agreed and we met him at work at 2pm. Well, I thought Scott was working. When we got there, he said that Chocolate Bear, our friend Dorian, was in the back. I got suspicious then. So I followed, went into the room, and SURPRISE!!... it was a 30th birthday party for me. Scott got one over on me. I will have pictures when I get them from everyone who was there.

Scott did very well. I was truely surprised. Thank you honey for a wonderful party. I love you!!
