Thinking About Christmas Already

So the stores have already begun to decorate for Christmas and Santa is already at the malls!! It is not even Thanksgiving, but I know that I have been thinking about Christmas for a while just because I have done most of the shopping during the late summer, early fall. Luckily our children are small so anything works for them. Scott and I have decided not to do much for each other because the new car was our Christmas present to each other. Money is very tight so we are unable to purchase lavish gifts for everyone this year or to say "oh, it is only 10 dollars more than what I had planned on spending". It is depressing to hear what people want for Christmas because we simply cannot afford it. I have made a list for the family only because I knew they would be asking what we would like. I hate asking for things. I really do not need anything this year, as to why I have not made a big deal about my birthday coming up or Christmas. My gift to the family was Jack-- he is the most important gift I could give. To Scott-- I do not want anything!! I have everything I could possibly need-- I do not need anymore jewelry, clothing, etc.
