Midnight

If you have ever seen Marley and Me you know how annoying puppies can be at first but then you grow to love them over time. We do this will all of our animals. Scott and I have two cats. Matty, who pretty much stays away from everything and Midnight who is our little "Marley". Midnight is 8 years old and is acting like a little puppy. This morning I was holding Jack when Midnight decided to jump into the pack and play to sleep. I try to get up the best I can with the baby to shew his away, but that proved to be problematic. The stubborn cat WOULD NOT MOVE! He had his claws into the blanket and just laid there. He weight about 28 pounds so picking him up while holding a newborn was not going to happen. Finally I just went into the bathroom, wet my hand and splashed him with water. That worked. Next, he wanted to sit with me. ON MY LAP!! This was not going to work because of the staples I still have and they are REALLY bothering me. I cannot wait to have them taken out!!

So if anyone wants a cat I will lend him to you for a while!! I really do love Midnight, but last time we brought a baby home he just ran and hid. Now he wants right in with the action. A good thing I guess, but so annoying at times.
