Today Jack went to the doctors for his four week/ one month check up. He is doing very well. He now weighs 8 pounds 15 ounces and is 22 inches long. He has grown 2 inches in the past two weeks. He is in the 75th percentile for height and the 50th percentile for weight. His head size is just under the 50th percentile.
As the doctor was weighing him... well getting ready to weigh him, as he was being laid on the scale, Jack thought it would be a great idea to pee all over the doctor. I laughed so hard. My mother thought that it was funny as well and told the doctor he should be better prepared for things like that. He laughed and said it had not happened in a while.
We also asked the doctor about Lex and a booster seat. We would love to have him in a booster seat but I am afraid he is still too little. The doctor agreed saying that kids MUST be 3 years old, at least 30 pounds and at least 37 inches tall. Lex meets two of the three criteria. So we have to wait til June to get a booster seat. No big deal. Our car seats are working out.
