Yard Sale Saturday

So, it has taken Scott five LONG years to finally go through his wrestling items (VHSs) and other items, but we did it. He also went through all of his Sports Illiustrated magazines. Yes he was keeping them in his parent's basement... for what I do not know, but he had over one hundred!! His parents had some stuff to get rid of as well; as did myself and mom.

We decided a few weeks ago to just have a huge yard sale. I wish I had taken a picture of the yard when we began... it was full! We had furniture, pictures, baby items, wrestling stuff, books, and much more. We began to sell around 8:30 a.m. and did not get packed up until 4:00 p.m. The last thing that sold was my old desk. I gave it to a guy at a real steal, but I did not want my parents to have to take it back into their house again. In the end we made about 300 dollars combined. If we were having a contest, I would have won, but I had some baby items and things from school that sold.

The best part of the day was when these women were trying to chew my mother down to fifty cents on a pair of my old dress shoes that were marked one dollar. They were crazy!! Other people thought that our prices were very resonable and did nto chew us down at all. It was great. We also had an accident in the front of the house... yea we have been having yard sales in front of my parent's house for MANY years. For the last two sales we have had accidents. This one was the worse by far though. I took pictures for the one lady who was definitely in the clear!! If you know where my parents live, you would understand the people.

I have no pictures at the moment to post. I have to get Jack's room together before taking a picture of it. We just got the dresser yesterday as well. I got a dicontinued floor model at a discount. I think I should have had a better discount, but honestly I am tired to looking for a dresser I like. We got it fromthe same place we got Lex's furniture- Kid's Quarters. It flips to a changing table as well if I wanted to, but I do not.

We are going to a concert tonight- CREED, so I am sure I will have pictures from that.
