Thinking A Lot

This is usually the time of year I live for at work. If you know me, you know why. This year, i am just blah. I have so many ideas, but no one wants to hear them or even if they do listen, they do not hear me.

Change is a HUGE deal. You can get so comfortable in one place and then when the rug is ripped out from under you, your world seems to just go out the window. But change can be a good thing as well. Sometimes change and make us think about how fortunate we are in life to have the things we do. Change can also make us realize just how vulnerable we all are... at any time or any place something can go wrong, or right for some lucky few. But for most, including myself, we become so consumed in the way we are used to doing things that change is just down right frightening! Frightening because we are set in our ways, this is the way I do what I do and this is the way it has ALWAYS been done.

Without change though, would we be where we are in the world today. Change brings about improvements, rules of thought and sometimes makes us better people/ society.

Keeping an open mind is also important for change. I wonder what the world would be like if everyone was close minded? I would imagine there would have been no changes. We would be under British rule!

I feel as though I have so much to offer, but I am not being heard. I need to not give up. One day someone will listen to me and maybe even take me up on my offers or my suggestions. I am a hard worker, but this year, I feel so useless!!!!
