We did it!!

It is official... we have a new car!! It is a 2010 Ford Escape that is sport blue (the most popular color being sold this year). We had a wonderful experience buying the car with Bob Bell. He is such a nice man and so are his son-in-laws and grandsons. They worked very hard to make sure we had what we wanted by the date we needed it. I would definitely recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a car.

So in the five years we have been married we have paid off two cars, bought a house, and bought a car. I definitely think we aer into this being an adult thing!! I did not even cry when hearing the monthly payments for the car.

Lex loves the car as well. He likes to make phone calles with me through the car... a feature like onstar.

Speaking of Lex, I forgot to tell this story. Last week we were at the in-laws for a birthday celebration. I was speaking with Jen when Lex wanted to talk to me as well. I heard him saying Mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy... and so forth, but he has to learn to wait so I told him I was speaking with Aunt Jen and when we were finished I would speak with him. He settled down for a minute or so and then it began again; mommy, mommy, mommy, to the point he WANTED my attention... mommy, mommy, mommy,mommy, LISA!

I could not believe it. It was so funny!He knows both Scotts and my names and also knows that Scott called me Honey, so he thinks he can call me honey as well. What kids don't learn. And I swear he is speaking in paragraphs now. He just has so much to say. He loves to sing the songs from Pete's Dragon, Sesame Street, etc. He sings them pretty well in their entirety even when there is no music playing. He is a great kid.
