Last night proved to be very interesting. Around 12:30 in the morning Lex began to cry so we brought him into our room to lay with us for a while. He laid with us but he kept moaning and turning over and over and over. We asked him if his stomach hurt and he said yes. He wanted to sit on the toilet, but he was afraid to do number 2 AND number 1 which was weird. He kept saying that it hurt. I thought uninary track infection or something. I call mom... yes at 1:30 in the morning!! She suggested we call the pediatrician and give him a supository. We did. THe doctor said he probably just had a sour stomach. At 2 Lex wanted to come down stairs. We did nto argue. We were up anyway and we wanted to keep him comfortable. So we all walk on down to the family room. Lex bagan to moan again, but this time came the massive dirty diaper. This the beginning of a long hour. The last time we thought he was going to have a blow out, he laid on the floor, head on the pillow, all curled up. Then the real action began... he threw up ALL over the floor. He was so upset but kept saying "sorry mommy". I picked him up and took him to the toilet, he threw up again, this time worried over fluching the toilet all the time and that he was messing up the bathroom floor. So pathetic. After that Mom came to the rescue. We decided that I would go to work because of having the baby in a few days so Scott took off and spent the day here with mom. They did some laundry and cleaned up the family room. Lex seemed to be back to his normal self when he woke up at 9:30.
Me... I am exhausted. 4 hours of sleep is not good for a full days work... expecially teaching. BUt I have a second wind right now... hopefully it will last for me to get some school work done. We have to get up early too tomorrow because I have to be at the hospital at 7:20 am for monitoring. Fun stuff. Mom will meet me there and pick up Lex so he is with her during the day tomorrow just incase there is more action tonight to tomorrow. Soem crazy stuff!!!
