Today we had some adventures. First we went to pick up my dress for Aunt Jen's wedding. It is a pretty dress but was two sizes too big. I let the people at the store know, and they did not care. Even with the part that they said they measured me for that was the largest, they ordered the dress in that size, but it was still too big. But this is what happens when you measure a person with clothes on, especially a winter sweater. So I had to take it to the wonderful seemstresses that I rely on and they are taking it in. It is not going to be done until the end of March, but they said they have to take it in an inch or more on each side of the bust area and the rib cage area. They are also hemming it. I think what upset me the most about the whole thing what the fact that the lady at the dress shop totally dismissed the fact that they ordered me the wrong size. She did not even bother offering to help remedy the problem.
After that, we were off to happier times. Lex went to his first birthday party at the Fun Zone ar Free State Sports complex in White Marsh. He had so much fun with his friends. He especially enjoyed the ball pit and the slides. Here are some pictures from the birthday party fun!!
