Is it left? Is it right?

Determining which hand your child will write with has many myths. For instance a coworker told me that you look at the direction in which the child's hair circles in the back. If that is true then Lex will be right handed like his mommy and daddy.

Today we were coloring and Lex began holding the crayon with his left hand. He did this for a good while. Then we took a break and when we began coloring again he started with his right hand. I would not be upset if he is ambedextrius, like his mommy. It is cute watching him color with both hands. He has a good grip on the crayon with both hands. He throws a ball with both hands also. Daddy is keeping his fingers crossed for a left handed pitcher or a right handed quarterback.
