Proper Ediquette?

The past few days have been hectic with the house, school, and just life in general. We have been eatting out and at other family memeber homes and there are some things that we have noticed. I have mainly questioned them as proper ediquette. I know that elbows on the table is one, but that is something minor in the whole grand sheme.

Anyway, here is what we have noticed...

1. Waitresses leaning or reaching over you and your meal to get to something across the table. First... EWW, I do not need to know if your deoderant is working at that time when I am eatting. Second, we are not that big, you can go around us.

2. People serving themselves BEFORE all the food is on the table. The worse part was this person eatting before the food was out and the entire company was seated... especially the cooks!! Are we really that hungry?!? I was taught that you wait until everyone is at the table and then you begin serving the food.

3. Parties- the host has the seating arrangement set up and then the quests (whom have never been to the house before) begin to rearrange the set- up.

4. Belching- saying excuse me- especially when you are a priest. Priestly manners have definitly gone down and the repect level is definitly not mutual. It is like the police, do as I say, not as I do. Aggrivating!!! Oh by the way, yes a preist belched near me, did not say excuse me, then proceeded to bang his car door into mine... and still not say anything... I was standing right there.

Well, they are the few things that we have noticed in the last week or so.
I just needed to get it off my chest.

Speaking of chest... I have whatever has been going back and forth at school. But of course, I cannot take anything therefore it is Tylonal and water for me. It sucks. My chest hurts... like someone is sitting on it. At least I can somewhat breath today, unlike yesterday. I came home from work and slept until I had to fix dinner and then graded some papers, went to bed. Scott and Lex were excellent. Scott is great when I am sick- he really helps out with Lex and all. He even offered to do the dishes... they didn't get done, but that is alright... he still offered. I was not worried about them anyway.

Today I go for my ultrasound to see just how far along I am. I have to drink 30 ounces of water an hour before the appointment. I think that that is impossible. I cannot drink one cup without peeing.

I will post the picture tonight--- HOPEFULLY.

I must apologize for my father in regards to #2. I too have been taught to not eat before everyone else is seated but well, I guess that falls under "Do as I say, not as I do" category.

PS. Can't wait to see pics of the newest family member!
