Flu Hits Early

I noticed last weekend that WalMart had flu shots out already. I was like Okay, I will get ours soon. No big rush.

Acouple days later.... BAM!! I was hit on Tuesday with a severe headache in which I actually got sick. This was not only my parents anniversary, but they agreed to watch the boys because Scott had tickets to a WWE event where we would have been in the FRONT row. I was not thrilled about being in the front row, but I am supportive of Scott and his hobbies. I felt so bad about getting sick!!

The week went on and I still not feel right, but I figured it was because it was hot at school and we do not have air conditioning. No biggy right? I am an adult, I can handle it.

Thursday night Lex woke up and came into our room, again no big deal. He always comes into our room. Then he woke up around 3 a.m. saying he did not feel well and had had an accident in his pants. Scott went in to get his bed ready to put him back in when he noticed that Lex had thrown up all over his bed. As I went in to check it out, I heard Scott tell Lex "It is okay bud, it is okay". I came into the bedroom and there is Lex throwing up again all over Scott.

Lex was settled and fell asleep again. I did also knowing I was going to work Friday and Scott would stay at home with Lex. Jack would go to the sitters as planed.

Friday morning 5:30 came around and I could not get off the potty. Flue had struck full force. I took some medicine and went to work. I only stayed for two classes and came home with Jack. I stayed up in the bedroom and was miserable all day!! It hit me like a mack truck.

Day five of this... Lex is great, I feel great, Jack cannot stomach anything!!! Scott is fine as well.

Well come flu season. We are done right?
