Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend is turing out to be very busy. First on Saturday we had to go out inthe rain to pick up a few things from various stores around the Bel Air area. At least it stopped raining while we where out. Lex fell asleep in the way home so he had a short nap. At 12:30 we left home to hed to Crofton for Scott's best friend's 30th birthday party. Lex had fun at the party making friends with the other 2 year old girl who what there as well. They played very well for meeting for the first time. After cutting the cake, grabbing some to go, we headed to my grandparent's house for crabs. Jason was in town so we always seem to get something seafoodish when he is here. This weekend it was crabs. I wanted to see Lex's reaction to a cooked crab. He was curious at first, but then realized that his hands would get dirty and wanted nothing to do with it.







After eatting crabs, Lex decided to go outside to play with his bubble maker hippo. He was having so much fun with it. He loves Bubbles. It is a cheap activity for him this summer.





After playing with the bubbles for a while, everyone decided to come outside to enjoy the nice evening. It was not raining for once and the sun was out. Lex wanted ice cream. He usually shares with everyone!!, not this time. He would share with everyone except mommy who went in to get the ice cream cone from the freezer. He even gave Uncle Jason an ice cream kiss.











After Ice cream it was time for Lex to play in the make sift swimming pool. Yes we are using hospital basins... they are unused of course!! They are comin in handy for some fun entertainment when we are down at the grandparent's house. Lex does use it also for washing mom-mom-mom's car.

TODAY... I think that we are going to pick some things up at LOWES for the house, then come home put together our new shed and maybe take apart our old entertainment system , maybe even putting together our new stand for our new t.v. The t.v. has been sitting in out dining room for the past 3 months. I think that it is time to set it all up. Then this evening we will got to Scott's parent's house to see his dad. I will see my dad this week so I will get him his gift then.

Well, Lex is sitting on my lap making it hard to type because he is wiggling. He is facinated with pens and pencils.
