Sunday was Easter. Scott was working in the morning so Lex and I went and had breakfat with mom, dad, and Jason. Lex had a good time. He wanted to go outside to play with Uncle Jason, but it was really cold. After we spent time there and took a nap, yes we both took a nap, we traveled home just to drop things off and to get ready to go to Scott's parent's house for dinner.We were there by four, had dinner then waited for Aunt Jen and Uncle Eddie to arrive. They came around 6 pm. We had an easter egg hunt. Lex was lost at first and decided to throw the egg as apposed to placing it in the basket, but by the time he found the second egg he placed it in the basket. Easter Monday turned out to be just as busy... Mom and I went to the mall to look for something that I needed for the wedding Friday. We ended up going to two malls and still did not find what I was looking for. We also had to drop our tv off at FedEx because the picture is out and we have the extended warranty, so hopefully they will fix it or replace it with a new one. After a short nap, mom dropped Lex and I off at Scott's wrok where I met up with his coworker, Cindy. She is Scott's "other woman", but I do not mind, she keeps him on track :O) Cindy was going with me to Sephora to get some make-up. I am a make-up virgin so I wanted to be shown what to do properly and. My main concern was that I do not want to look like I am wearing make-up. You know how soem women are... they look like they have a mask on and are totally different people. So a lot of money down the road and am pleased with my purchase and may actully like wearing the make-up on a regular basis. Again we did not get home until 7 pm.
Tuesday started out restfull. Lex and I were chilling in the morning, then meeting mom and dad at White Marsh... again looking for the thing I needed for the wedding. We were watching Monsters Inc., Lex's new favorite movie. I decided to take a shower, like usual. So I picked up all the crayons and placed them high up where little fingers could not get them, well I thought that I had gotten them all. Lex must have had one hidden somewhere and decided that paper was not a good canvas for his artwork. So Instead he decided to color all over my yellow chair. ALL OVER THE SEAT CUSHION!!! Luckly I has just sprayed it with the protection stuff and then used the other liquid to rub on. When I checked it last night it was almost not visible. I did not yell at Lex, but instead took the crayons away and he does not know where they are. It was punishment enough. I hope that he does not do that again.
On to other events of Tuesday... At 4 pm I went to have my hair cut. Then I picked Lex up at my parents and then we were off to sit in traffic for an hour. At 6pm Scott and Lex had appointments to get their hair cut. I made it there by 6:15 just in time for Scott to be done. Lex explored the place then we sat him on Scott's lap. He did not want Daddy. I sat in the chair and Lex hoped right up. He was a modle child getting his first hair cut. I know that I was surprised. I thought for sure he would cry, but he did not. When it was all said and done, he looked like a little man. My boy is growing up. Here are some pictures from the first hair cut.
Today, my parents are watchign Lex so I can get some stuff done around the house. I need to dust and vacuum and get things ready for Friday. Scott is working late tonight to catch up on his work that he will miss Thursday sfternoon and Friday. Lex is spending the night to make Thursday a little easier also. I am getting my nails done at 9:30. At first I was going to just have a manicure, but then I decided I was going to pamper myself and have tips put on. I have not had that done for a while so I am doing it. Then I will pick Lex up at my parents, come home, nap, and then get ready for rehearsal.
Again Spring Break has turned into Spring busy!!!!
