Cought Gray Pawed

Not only have we had a raccoon eatting our new trash can as soon as we brought it to the house, but now it seems all the little fury friends of the wild love our house. We must have a welcome sign for all the wildlife of Harford County!! Last week I noticed that a mini pumpkin Lex pixked out was missing off of our deck. The dog a few doors down was barking a lot that week at night and now I know why. Something was eatting the pumpkin. Then today when Lex and I pulled into our parking space I noticed that there was a squirl by our front steps. This is not unusual for Thumper, our friendly neighborhood rabbit, or Chip and Dale, our neighborhood chipmunks, but squirls are hardly ever that close to the house. But this one was very bold and decided that what I thought was mine, was apparently his also.

Yes, this bold little squirl has eaten a huge hole into a pumpkin of our and has welcomed itself to the pumpkin seeds that are in it. I guess that I do not have to carve that pumpkin.
